VONDA WALTERS, FHFMA, CHFP, PRESIDENT

Vonda Walters brings over 25 years of experience within the healthcare industry in all aspects of the revenue cycle, including facility reimbursement, business office operations, chargemaster, managed care contracting, outpatient coding and auditing, compliance, chart auditing, and process improvements.  Her background includes managing a Physical Therapy company, Durable Medical Equipment partnership, Revenue Integrity Directorship for PPS and Critical Access Hospitals, an independent Revenue Integrity Consultant, and President for Revenue Integrity Management Resources.

Vonda holds an FHFMA & CHFP certification and is currently a leadership volunteer at her local Arkansas Healthcare Financial Management Association chapter. She is currently serving a four-year commitment as a chapter officer. She has previously served as a board member, Newsletter Chair, and Revenue Cycle Committee Member. She is a member of the Arkansas Contractor Advisory Committee for Novitas-Solutions.

CAMERON MERRITT, SENIOR CONSULTANT

Cameron Merritt has more than 20 years of experience in Sales, Finance, Healthcare, and Operational Management. She completed her Business education at the University of Central Arkansas in 1993. Her background consists of driving revenue and balancing operational expenses in multiple fortune 500 companies. In addition, her extensive knowledge and experience in healthcare compliance and patient care have enabled her to effectively manage a triple board-certified Surgeon and Surgical Practice and lead a successful top sales department for a Medical Spa and Dermatology practice.

RHONDA BROWN, CCS, CONSULTANT

Rhonda Brown, CCS has 21 years of experience in Inpatient and Outpatient facility coding, auditing, and management of Acute Care and Critical Access Hospitals.  She began her career as a coder in 1999 before obtaining her CCS in 2003. Her work includes performing inpatient and outpatient coding, serving as a Lead Coder, Director of IP Coding, and Director of Health Information. Rhonda is an experienced coding auditor and educator with focus on coding accuracy and compliance, Correct Coding Initiative, modifier usage, and charge reviews.

Rhonda is affiliated with AHIMA and holds a CCS certification.

JENNY GUTHRIE, MBA, RHIT, CHC CONSULTANT

Jenny brings 20 years of progressive healthcare experience. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Health Care Compliance Association, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association where she has served as the Revenue Cycle Chair for the Arkansas chapter since 2019. Jenny holds extensive knowledge of front to back end revenue cycle functions, as well state and federal compliance rules and regulations. Along with her leadership skills, she drives expert operations and excellent results.
